The McLaren Trophy Europe is set for a new season in 2026, confirming itself as one of the most exciting one-make championships in the GT racing landscape. The series is designed to highlight pure driver talent, placing everyone in equal technical conditions and turning every race into a direct contest of driving ability.

At the centre of the championship is the McLaren Artura Trophy Evo, a 585-horsepower race car engineered to deliver performance levels close to a GT3. Aggressive aerodynamics and the Push-to-Pass system complete a technical package that ensures intense and highly competitive racing.

The championship is structured across five race weekends, for a total of ten races, all held within the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe platform. This significantly increases the visibility of the series, allowing drivers to compete in front of large crowds and within a top-level racing environment.

The 2026 calendar features some of Europe’s most iconic circuits. The season kicks off at Monza from May 29 to 31, before moving to Spa-Francorchamps at the end of June. The third round takes place at Misano in July, while the final part of the season includes Barcelona and Portimão, both scheduled for October.

Each weekend offers nearly five hours of track time, culminating in two 50-minute races that define the outcome of the event. It is a format that demands consistency, speed and race management, especially in such a closely matched technical field.

The championship is divided into three classes—Pro, Pro-AM and AM—designed to ensure close competition between drivers of similar experience and background. Alongside this, the McLaren Trophy Academy provides a valuable opportunity for young talents, offering support and development within a professional environment.

Running alongside the GT World Challenge, the McLaren Trophy Europe establishes itself as a key stepping stone for drivers aiming to build a career in endurance racing. A championship that combines performance, visibility and competitiveness, increasingly becoming a reference point for drivers and teams across Europe.
