After the opening rounds of the Italian GT Sprint Championship, Riccardo Ianniello is set to shine again on the international stage. The Roman driver will take part in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe round at the Nürburgring (August 29–31), at the wheel of the Huracán ST Evo2 fielded by Vincenzo Sospiri Racing (VSR).

Ianniello is no stranger to the Lamborghini one-make series, having competed in the Super Trofeo in 2023 and finishing inside the Top 5 at the World Finals. The German weekend marks a spot entry in a category where he has already proven competitive, but now offers a fresh opportunity for growth and challenge.

“Racing at the Nürburgring is an extra motivation for me,” said Riccardo Ianniello.
“I would like to thank the team and Vincenzo Sospiri for this opportunity. It will be an intense weekend, one where I’ll aim to learn as much as possible and express my full potential. Going up against the best is the perfect drive to improve.”

The program will open on Friday with free practice, followed by qualifying and the two races scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. Both races will be available live via streaming on the official series channels.
