Everything is ready for the first green light of the season.
After months of preparation, Riccardo Ianniello is set to return to action on May 24–25 at the Vallelunga Circuit, which will host the opening round of the 2025 Italian GT Sprint Championship.
The young driver from Rome will be behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Huracán ST Evo2 fielded by DL Racing, with whom he’ll compete in the highly competitive GT Pro-Am class.
By his side throughout the season will be Vittorio Viglietti, sharing driving duties in the same car.
After claiming the Italian GT Endurance title in 2023 and experiencing a forced break in 2024, Riccardo returns to racing with renewed determination and clear goals.
His home circuit represents not only a sporting restart, but a personal one too — a chance to find back his race rhythm and aim high from the very first round.
“Finally being at Vallelunga for the first round is something special,” said Ianniello.
“We’ve worked hard to be ready, and I can’t wait to get back on track with DL Racing and Vittorio.
The goal is clear: to grow, learn, and fight for the podium.”
The weekend kicks off on Friday with free practice, while qualifying and the race will take place on Saturday and Sunday.
