There is no time to rest. The echoes of Monza are still fresh, the pole, the victory, but the McLaren Trophy Europe waits for no one. Round 2 of the 2026 season takes the Target Racing crew to the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, to one of the most iconic and demanding circuits in world motorsport: Spa-Francorchamps.

Seven kilometres of elevation changes carved through dense forest, corners that have written the history of racing and a microclimate capable of reshuffling the deck from one sector to the next. From Eau Rouge and Raidillon, the legendary combination that has taken the breath away from drivers and spectators for over a century, to Blanchimont, through the high-speed double left-hander at Pouhon and the heavy braking zone into Les Combes, every metre of asphalt demands precision, courage and a constant reading of track conditions.

For Ianniello, this is not his first visit to the Ardennes. The Belgian circuit already saw him in action during his time in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, an experience that allowed him to learn the challenges and braking references of a track where nothing is ever straightforward. An advantage that could prove valuable, particularly in the opening free practice sessions, when the work focuses on finding braking markers and building confidence with the car on such a technical layout.

For Gregor Jeets, the weekend represents a further opportunity to strengthen the partnership with his teammate and with the McLaren Artura Trophy Evo. At Monza the chemistry between the two clicked from the outset, in the garage and on track, and now the challenge is to replicate that level of collaboration on a circuit that requires a completely different approach. Different setup, different tyre management, different strategy.

The McLaren Artura Trophy Evo will need to adapt to a layout defined by extremely high cornering speeds, constant elevation changes and braking zones that push car and driver to the limit.

The weekend schedule at Spa-Francorchamps

The weekend gets underway on Thursday with two free practice sessions, at 11:50 and 17:20, crucial for finding the right setup on a circuit that offers very little margin for error. Friday sees the intensity ramp up with the third free practice at 09:05, followed by Race 1 qualifying at 09:25 and the first race at 12:40. In the afternoon, the crew is back on track with the fourth free practice at 16:05 and Race 2 qualifying at 16:25. Saturday morning closes proceedings with Race 2 at 09:20.

A compressed and relentless format that allows no room for pause. Two races, two qualifying sessions and four free practice outings across three days. For the Target Racing crew, that means working non-stop on data, setup and strategy, adapting in real time to whatever Spa decides to throw their way.

After Monza, Ianniello and Jeets arrive in Belgium with the championship standings in their favour and the confidence of a competitive package. Round 1 proved that this crew knows how to work together under pressure, how to adapt and how to deliver results. Now Spa-Francorchamps offers the chance to confirm all of that on an even more demanding stage. The goal is clear: keep fighting at the front.
